Very nice thanks. Alexander from watch-insider was talking about it in his interview, but couldn't show pictures...

fingers crossed for pics of the movement!
It'll be a Primero.

Good effort to stay faithful to the origina - kudos to Zenith for resisting including a date - but the slight cross-eyed look of movement in a case too big for it persist. Should still be popular though

For comparison, Adri's pic and the original

This is much more on-target than all those Ukrainian-style Pilot behemoths. The Cairelli Primero should do well.

Dammit @LouS!!! I didn't see it was cross eyed until you pointed it out...not saying that it is ruined for me, but damn.

Now that is all I see. Will have to see it in the flesh to determine whether or not I will buy my first new watch...ever.

Can you please elaborate, what does "cross-eyed" mean?

subdials too close to the center. It looks cross-eyed in comparison with the original

El Primero suits anything up to 40mm. Anything over that size looks out of proportion IMHO.

I've said it before: Zenith needs to super-size the El Primero. Call it El Primero Grande, XL Primero, El Segundo, whatever. Just get those subdials farther apart in those giant cases, and give us something that doesn't look ridiculous beneath a display back.

case size of original and new?

Original is 43mm, if I remember correctly. I don't know about the new one.

Has anybody else found more information?

I'm still interested even if it looks cross eyed.

Hi all,

I just found out some new information or at least missing information until now as I havn't seen it mentioned anywhere, so for those of you that are considering one the MSRP is $7700 and being an LE of just 1000 units I doubt there will be much discount on these if any. I really do like it but unfortunately every time I buy a chronograph because I love the look of it once on the wrist I end up flipping it after only wearing it 2-3 times and I've now learnt they are just not for me so will pass as much as I still love the look of this one.
