When you find yourself out of coffee and your Thursday feels like a Monday due to a mid-week day (of sun and drinking) off...

My Moonwatch. 7516783136_IMG_0113.JPG 7516783136_IMG_0114.JPG 7516783136_IMG_0117.JPG

I have to say, I have come to like the Speedmaster Moon on an alligator strap over the metal bracelet. It's a little funny to me because I'm a bracelet nazi when it comes to Rolex watches, particularly their sport watches.

My 3570.50 came on the bracelet but the guy I bought it from included Omega's dual rail black alligator strap with the watch. I replaced it with the Hirsch Viscount alligator in gold brown and think I've about found my ultimate look for this watch:

My OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch “Apollo XVII”, had this in the wish list for several months in 2017 until I finally purchased it! Took a while to get one mind you.

It’s been away now for about 8 weeks getting repaired after being damaged under warranty with a steemed face! Omega have promised me a new blue watch strap for compensation.

What happened to it?

I have the same watch - it's stunning in person.

Not actually sure mate. Took it to Barcelona on holiday and noticed the face was steeming up. Took it into omega and they have sent it away for repair. I’ll let you know once I get it back.

Do you know the story about the box and the miss spelling?

I hope it gets fixed properly. It must have been a faulty seal. It's nice that they're giving you a free strap, but it's difficult to be without the watch for so long so soon after getting it.

I do - I have the misspelled box. I think some members here were told that the boxes would be replaced with corrected ones, but others heard differently.

OK - not a Speedy moon but parts of this one has actually been in space and it is essentially a moonwatch - apart from dial, hands, caseback and crystal.

Oh...and I know these are not new but this one was bought for the first time just a couple of weeks ago.
That is a beauty of a watch mate.

Yeah, I’m hoping it’s returned with no issues!

They offered me a new box but I’m led to believe the misspelling will make it more “limited” lol true or false I’m not so sure
