trying to get movement pics. price is much better than others out there.
dial looks modern to me . correct?
hands looks modern

its a good price, which is why i was skeptical.

dial is good. Handset may be a correct service replacement. If the price is right, go for it

I'd move on that if the price is good. It looks like only the hour and minute hands are service. Subdials look like the skinny ones but could be wrong.

The dialing mechanism nor the handset on that telephone are modern. :D

Saw that one on the 'bay this morning. Also has replacement hands, and (from what I recall of the listing) a replacement crown.

Yes and yes. Saw that one listed on Chronomania, where the seller did suggest it was a service dial.

I'm not sure of ebay policy, but if you're unhappy with what's come to light about this example, you might want to contact seller and see if you can squirm out of the deal....
