Hi

I really love the look of the Zenith Super Sub Sea. But I can't seem to find a lot of information about them. Most importantly where is my best place to look when trying to find one, and how much can one expect to pay for a piece in good condition. If you could help answer these questions or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Better yet if you have one to sell please feel free to contact me.

These show up on eBay once in a while. They seem to pop up in Germany, from sellers unwilling to ship outside the country. Or one might appear at a Swedish auction house. Or one might be hidden in the back room at some little orologeria in Umbria. When they do show up on eBay, they're usually in crappy condition and sometimes Frankenized. I've seen one, maybe two nice ones for sale in the past two years. They are elusive. And collectors tend to hold onto them.

MMMD - Thanks for your response. I'll definitely keep my eyes open, the hunt is half the fun.

Do you happen to know a broad price range for this model?

I would expect to pay something like 42,000 Kr for a nice one, with bracelet. ;)

I would say somewhere in the $3500-5000 range for a decent one, but the competition might be steep enough to bring it higher at auction.

About right. Very sporadic finds, and they are not getting cheaper.

I noticed the orange variant on the web, but didn't realize it was the more rare of the combo's. Thanks again of the info

Wow! Gigi you seem to have a lot of the watches that I'm on the hunt for. These Sub Seas and the A386's. Very nice collection Sir, I'm extremely jealous.
