Zenith G3581 ?!

Hi all,
I am negotiating a golden primero, but I am not sure this is all original. The whole appearance of the watch makes me think this is an original. The seller is a long time collector and makes a very serious impression.
But I have not seen this model before.
The dial resembles more a G381 than a G581 (subdials closer to each other, small font 3, 6, 9 numerals in the subdial, subdials not recessed). But then, looking at positions 3, 6 and 9 of the dial, you do not have the long minute lines like in the G381 dial but just "bold" points. Furthermore, the tachymeter ring does not start with 500 as usual.
Any thoughts are much appreciated.
Cheers,
G.

good observations - not your classic G581 dial, but not the G381 either. Not sure what watch this might have come off of - could be factory variant, although I find no such in my picture library. Case number?

CaseNumber should be 485D656.
within a few numbers of known G581 numbers, late in the production run

Current owner bought the watch 4 years ago. Let's see if he can track down the previous owner. Another difference is in the construction of the date window. the cut out seems different and lacks the minute and minute-subdivision marks. All the gold primeros I have seen have those marks on the date window.

perhaps a service dial then?
