So, may we resume that steel el primero's belong to red square boxes and gold el primero's to round boxes?

No, red round boxes are for steel too. I think there is (one more time..) a little bit confusion in Zenith itself!

Just to put Gigi's Christmas tree into perspective, at today's prices those boxes alone are worth about €3,500 without the premium for the black one - and I've only ever seen one other black box that I believe resides in New York.

I think this red box may be fore earlier than EP's, but who actually knows!!!!

That particular black box works for an A386, but for a Mark II Espada, you need one of these:

On a NOS Defy I bought a couple of years ago, there were 7 on one side and 5 on the other. That is on a GF without the diver's extension.
