042.JPG 056.JPG 057.JPG 058.JPG 059.JPG 060.JPG This little beauty came in the post the other day, it is a very rare A386 539DXXX, it has its original dial hands movement case in perfect condition. I bought the watch with the chrono hand poped off, it was sitting on the dial and I put it back on, gave the crystal a little polish and here it is. What do you think chaps?

Another gambler rewarded! I'd say you did VERY well at the price. It was listed with middling to poor pictures that did the watch no favors, and with the second hand loose in the case as you mention. You had the courage to propose a very good price (for you) to the seller, who was clueless enough to take it - well played! The watch looks all authentic and never polished, a perfectly correct very early example of the A 386.

Now, I'd suggest you get it serviced as it obviously was not well cared for by prior owner - but be sure the watchmaker does not dare polish it.

Judging by the nice clean condition of the watch I would say that it has been sitting at the back of a drawer for most of its life. I could not believe the condition when I opened the package, the luck of the Irish hey lous.::psy::
