Does anyone perchance possess knowledge of this obscure little Zenith diver, reference 02.0210.462?

From what little I have gleaned, it seems to be an early- or mid-1990's model, so of a bridge between the De Luca and Rainbow perhaps?

Neat! Definitely looks mid-'90s. I know nothing of this Submariner-like model, but would not describe it as a bridge between the De Luca and Rainbow sieries. They were both chronographs, and 'sporting', or 'yachting' watches rather than real divers, although there are dial style similarities between this and the later De Lucas. The last De Lucas were produced in 1996, with the first Rainbows coming concurrently. I will be very interested in what info comes forth re this watch! Where did you find it?

Certainly one of the earlier divers in the 90s (maybe even 80s?). Here's a shot from when the Rainbow Elites were introduced in 1992....different bracelet and hands. Also, I believe the 462 is based on the ETA 2892.

I'm not much good at Italian, but I think you'll find that this page relates to the introduction of the Rainbow El Primero. The Elite movement was not yet developed and debuted in April, 1994. Presumably ETA movements were used before then for the three-handers.

This watch does indeed contain a 21-jewel ETA 2892-2. I was comparing it to the other Rainbow three-hand divers:

but it does resemble the Rainbow Elite, too:

It is interesting how the 02.0210.462 has elements of both plus a bit of the De Luca in it, too.

I have seen only a few of these and was wondering if anyone knew anything else about it.
