I used to own some expensive watches. Two Omegas, one Nomos, one IWC. Then my son went to college and I sold them. I decided to buy one expensive watch along with some sub $1000 favorites. There was only one choice if I was going to spend a few thousand. It’s not needy but it has to be a Speedy! I work in a hospital so I wear it with scubs.

Great for when codes are announced on the PA system, if you do that sort of thing :)

Here’s mine, yesterday with a slightly fogged up lens. I had given it a bit of a clean in the morning, and I’m guessing some moisture got it.

Left it in a sealed Tupperware with a load of silica gel, which seems to have fixed the issue

Mine’s a 2011 model, but I’ve treated her to an authentic JB Champion bracelet and crimp-on 1967 calendar. Unquestionably my favorite watch. Posing with her X-33 and GSOTMM sisters.

My brand new (to me) 2003 3572.50 just after getting the bracelet sized. I’m finally part of the club! A9CDFEB2-C5F2-4A5D-93EC-2C0E723C0A0E.jpeg 7D0FED20-6A6B-423E-BDAB-FFB86B8CB49B.jpeg
