Can anyone recommend a US watchmaker to provide routine service for a Zenith A386? Movement appears to be running fine, just want to have it checked out.
Or should I have it serviced directly by Zenith?

Feel free to send a PM if you prefer. Thanks!

Jim

If you just want a basic competent service, and want to stay close to home, I've used Setrak Watch Repair in the same building as the Rolex Service Center in SF for my HW Prime. In fact, Giovanni recommended him for non-Rolex work.

Just be specific in how you want anything done, or not done - as in, for example, No Polishing. I think I paid $475 this Spring.

I'd love to hear if anyone has a watchmaker with specific vintage Zenith expertise, maybe a stash of vintage parts or an LVMH account. Please share.

I have some parts and will help when I can, as for work on the watches few and far between

Thank you for the tip. I used Setrak a couple months ago to help size a pesky Zenith TV bracelet, nice guy. I will check with him regarding El Primeros.
Anyone else have a trusted US based EP servicer?
