Wife found these Race to Survive series, wasn’t happy when I told her I’d watched them, she has nearly caught up with the end of series 3 2020, reckons she’d watch these rather than the actual racing, times I’d agree. Anyone else?

They're great- I've struggled to get my son to watch a race of quali with me, but he watched Drive to Survive and is now nagging me about staying up late to watch the races. He loves Gunther Steiner!

It's a brilliant marketing move from F1

Gunther is a favourite of ours, maybe he show passion more than the others, wears his heart on his sleeve a bit more.

It's a really good series and quite pleased that I accidentally came across it last month...even Mrs JiaB enjoyed it.
Found the series to be more entertaining than watching the actual races - albeit I only see the highlights on C4, damned if I'm coughing up for a Sky Sports sub'

You'll be hooked ;) Inside the scenes drama, behind the paddocks humor/comedy. The script sometimes stretches it a little bit more but it is all for good fun and entertainment  This makes a great entry point to a lot of non-F1 fans around the world :coffee:

I agree. It is a good series. It has sort of got me back into F1. I don't watch the races but I am at least taking more of an interest.

After spending a few years trying to teach a NASCAR fan the wonders and joys of F1 he started to watch this series. He's hooked now and calls me regularly to discuss the details and results. This past weekend's "race" doesn't help much::facepalm2:: But he is a recent convert nonetheless and I'm glad to have him onboard. Netflix isn't something I have or ever will.
Apparently there is a new series debuting Sept. 15th titled "Schumacher"
And I am tech challenged. I just wanted to post the trailer here:thumbsdown:

During the long rainout last weekend skysports (espn here) had a really nice cover of Mick driving Michael's Jordan around Silverstone. Being tech challenged, I cannot find it on the internet..

I really love it. I and my friends always enjoy this type of season and also wear a modish astroworld shirt.

Similar here. The missus really got into it and now we're waiting for the 2022 season.
I'm not interested enough in the F1 to fork out the ridiculous prices for live coverage, especially when Drive to Survive is a better way to tell the story of each season.

We’d been watching this but got sidetracked into other shows-herself has control of the remote- now they’re done I’ll remind her of DtS.

I just wish that the MotoGP equivalent was as interesting to watch, but unfortunately it isn't. :( I think it's because the subtitles remove all the emotions from what the riders are saying when they're interviewed.
