Hello,

As the title says, I am looking for a Zenith 2572 movement.
Would anyone know where I could get one?

I got my hands on a NOS case that requires this movement so I was hoping to be able to find the movement now =)

Thank you for your help,
Thomas

Great, thanks!

The one you refered to seems in bad shape, no ?
I think I'd rather buy a movement in better condition =)

All of those should work then?

What is the difference between 2552 / 2562 and 2572?
I need to take care about the color of the date, I need a silver / white one.

It is in pretty shaky condition, to be sure. I'd be patient and find a better one.

Each iteration of the 25x2 has improvements over the previous one. For example, the 2572PC has quickset date, the 2552PC adds a higher beat rate (28800bph), etc., etc. I'm not near my Roessler, so I couldn't give you all the details.

Must take this rare opportunity to correct a small typo in LouS's last post. It is the 2562 that bumps up the bph from 21600 to 28800, not the 2552.

Thank you for this information!
That is very interesting.
I think this one is looking really good: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171258136498
What do you think?

I think you should hold out for a 2572 - not rare. Besides, someone else might have his eye on that 2562 for parts. :whistling:

I have been monitoring Ebay for the past 3 weeks and I did not found any good matches so far.
I know that it is not so long but I am not really patient ^^

This 2562 looks really nice and is quite cheap at the moment.. you were also interested in it?

Not as interested as you but I need a date wheel. Go for it... I'm not in a hurry.
