I've been swept off my feet

Set off today, after weeks of research online to purchase a Nomos Tangente Date. Got to the store, saw her in person and ...... it just wasn't for me. I walked in all pumped up and excited, I was sure this was my next watch and felt like the wind dropped out of my sails.

Deflated, I walked around and then went over to vintage watch gallery thinking looking for an old speedmaster to distract me and pine over and what do I stumble upon?

This beauty

Box and Papers included, I'm in love.

There is a strict "one in one out" policy imposed right now so as soon as my Railmaster sells, this will be mine (I'm also stalking this one on ebay.

Thank you! I was hoping you had a vintage Railmaster as I might be interested in adding another. . . Sigh!

Loving it so far. The dial is so much more interesting in person. The indices twinkle in the light and the moon phase has a great color changing effect.

I'm not super sold on this tan ostrich strap, thinking about getting a really dark blue gator like this to test out.

Very nice!

The Nomos feeling is familiair by the way. I once went in to buy a Tangomat, but everything I liked in the pictures, let me down irl. Didn't sit well on my wrist and the polished case looked, well, cheap.

I am wondering about this policy. Sounds externally imposed to me. I don't think I have the will power to do this to myself. Indeed I seem to be growing a collection much faster than I had planned. 12 in about a year. How many is really enough? Is there a group I can go to help with this problem.

"Hello, I am James. I have a problem with watches." That sort of thing

wow didnt realise you could get such great macro shots from an OlloClip. Might have to consider getting one of them. Do you have any more shots with an Olloclip showing the whole watch (not so zoomed in)?
