On sale at a local auction, will probably not get so much attention.

I really dont know that much about Zenith, what can you guys tell me about it ? =) Rough value ?

A384. Crown's been replaced and the crystal has a "couple" of scratches. But other than that I like it (assuming it functions properly). Case looks good to me. Others will say I'm way too high but if I could get that under $3K, I'd be happy with it.

Too high? Not me! In proper shape, an A 384 will go for about USD4500 on eBay, and the one in question has the potential to be put in proper shape - all the hard-to-find bits are in present and dial & case are in decent shape. I'd certainly be happy to get it under $3k, maybe a smidge more.

Not me. I didn't dare go higher due to the uncertainty concerning possible moisture damages in the dial. The way the tritium had aged, one couldn't rule out that the dial would not be good looking when the crystal had been exchanged

I was also there and bid almost to the end but I thought it rose too high at the end.
If it was bad decision remains to be seen after the buyer renovated it.

it took a while to have it here, the watch runs like a champ. flawless so far.
I will take some pics of the dial as soon as I have it dissembled to send the case for a refurbishment.
To me it looks immaculate, and I really love this watch.
If there is someone out there with a spare ladder bracelet please contact me :-)
btw. My highest bid was only a few swedish crowns over the last price .
