·I think this link takes one to a thread in WUS where post #20 had a Zenith catalog page - showing the A277 with the short hash mark bezel. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f27/dr-evil-sells-his-zenith-632288-2.html#post4713247
I'm on my iPad and away from source image files so I can't comfortably post it up to our thread. If someone could it would probably help future seekers of knowledge.
My A277 has that same pictured bezel, and it is faded consistent with many decades of use - so I like to think that it was the original Zenith application.
