Two bumpers in from abroad, nothing opulent - but each with a little something special.

The first, from France, is a gold-plated Captain, plain enough - a little radium staining and text fade on the dial, but with a really perfect case and an introvabile 8-sided Captain crown.

The second, from Australia, is a nameless model with an unusual steel case and a pretty guilloche dial, again with the introvabile crown.

Two nice examples of Jobin's work - cal 133.8 & 71.

Pretty finds for a pittance.

That first example is crispy!

Guilloche, yes. But how about the Z on that signed crown?--looks like it's straight out of a comic book. I love it and would have bought the watch for that one detail alone!

Lou, next Halloween, we might have to get you in a costume ;)

Still waiting for ADOS story and pictures...

These are what the Italians might call gioiellini.
Complimenti.

The guilloche dial has very attractive dot minute markers .
