This is a 1960ties Zenith ref. A271 housing the cal. 146D movement.

I love this clear but not flat dial with the simple thin stick hands – no lume at all.

Under certain angles the watch shows its second face with blued chronograph needles:

Have a nice weekend,

Stunning! Dibs. The 2 register chronos like this and the cal320 look wonderful. I would really like to get something like these.

What a beauty ! How the light changes the color and the hands makes it even more intriguing.

That dial is magnificent, what is the diameter on the watch? Absolute class.

Thanks for this great word "magnificent" which describes the watch in all aspects very well.

The case measures 37 mm without crown, lug width 19 mm, height almost 12 mm.

Cheers,

Mick

37mm is perfect! They showed a re-make of this watch at Basel World 2015 but i think they've taken it up to 43mm or something like that which is way to big. I have total lust for this watch, i've just downloaded your pictures so i can perv on them in private.

that's the most beautiful Zenith I've ever seen.

Thanks, Paul.

I have to say that I'm not so fond of these older chronographs. But this piece somehow put a spell on me, as did this Movado ref. 95 704 568 with a cal. 95M movement a few months before:
