Watch porn indeed!! Thanks Lou for posting. I have a question, Jeff: How are those watches in the suitcase kept from flopping all over during transit?

Good question: I had a wooden box inside the briefcase; dimensions of the wooden box approximately 12 inches, by 8 inches, by 3 inches. This box was packed pretty solidly with the watches.

Good solution - pack 'em in so tightly, there is no free motion! Will remember for future meetings!

Yes, I am of the view that collections of vintage watches should be referenced by cubic centimeters or cubic feet, rather than needing to count the individual watches!! I am writing a "Best of 2013" posting for Chronocentric and will have a couple of thoughts about this lunch . . . Zenith vs. Heuer, etc.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the Vixa. I have been interested in the type 20s for some time but have not pulled the trigger. I have had current Breguet XXs but prefer the vintage pieces over the newer ones.
