Anthony.R you are a champion!! Took charger back to TAG Boutique and the charger I had was for the 42mm - swapped out for the 45mm (correct) charger and now working as intended :). They also gave me a branded Hydro Flask for my trouble so excellent outcome all round. Thanks for the advice.

Did your 45 come with a 42 charger in the box?

Yes it would appear to be the case - maybe less focus on a fancy box, inside a box, inside a box, and more on quality control?

I wanted to report back on battery life on the E4 42. I use the always-on-display but don't really use the sensors for steps and heart rate (that will change when WearOS 3 integrates Fitbit hopefully). I use mainly Tag watchfaces (currently the Eclipse one). Overall, i do get through 24h+ without a problem with the watch, and don't have to think about battery life throughout the day (my previous E2 41 was not making it through 12-14 hours days).

In the evening, I am consistently at 40%+ of battery life. When I turn on sensors and heart rate in fit and Tag Wellness, i am ending my day at 20%+.

Yesterday, I made an effort to empty the battery, and it seems that this trick is still having a positive impact on battery life estimates, as I am showing 21h to go after wearing it all morning.

Very happy with the switch to the E4 from the E2, and can't wait for WearOS 3 (I've been told late 2022). Btw, if you are considering multiple straps, make the math to decide which version of the watch to get. In Canadian $, going with the steel strap and adding a leather one makes for a good saving.

Today, I tried to disable Always-on-display for the whole day and am barely noticing a difference in battery life to the point that I can't tell if AOD actually makes any difference on the battery life. Did someone else notice the same thing?

I noticed something on my E4 42 the other day that I didn't know about. I forced my battery to discharge as much as possible, up to the point where the watch shut down. I then pressed the crown, and a watch face appeared for 5 seconds showing the correct time. So it seems that the watch entered a low power mode and still was able to display the time without the full WearOS functionality. Is this something that Tag has advertised and I just missed it? Is it also on the E4 45 and on the E3? I am certain this was not available on my previous E2 41.

As far as I know, this is a feature available to 4100+ processor watches.

Surprising that Tag doesn't advertise this, something along the line of "plus X hours in power save mode to keep your watch #1 function going way beyond".

Congrats Anthony! I like it much better than the steel E4!

Are you going to have both, or are you going to sell the steel one?

Thanks Albert..
I think I may sell the Steel as I can't have both connected to the iPhone.
Undecided at the moment.

My e4 golf edition is landing today (and hence ending a long wait) . I'll let you know how I get on with it, just hope the battery life is miles better than the e3.

Good day guys!
I would like to ask is there anyone out there has tried to set reminder on the E4 watch?

After I click on set reminder, and prompted me on the loading screen non stop, anyone can advise me how to solve it or you guys didn’t have such issue? Thanks and looking forward to a solution for that!
