1962 Seamster 105.001-62 bracelet question

I have a 1962 Seamster Chronograph 105-101-62 that I've posted about in the past.

I recently had a discussion with a friend regarding the beads of rice bracelet that came with the watch. It doesn't appear to be the standard type that I've seen on others. I honestly can't find other examples of BoR on omegas that are the same as mine.

I know that it was original to the watch but I'm wondering if it was a non-Omega bracelet. The clasp is clearly an omega clasp. The end links have the number 50 on them.

Do any of the experts here have any thoughts? TIA. 1000009181.jpg 1000009184.jpg

That is not a beads of rice bracelet, not even close. Totally different style. It reminds me of the NSA bracelets.

That's what I thought. Just didn't know what to call it. What is NSA (aside from National Security Agency lol)?

It still might be an original Omega bracelet. I’m sure I’ve seen that style before on early 60’s watches before the ‘standard’ beads of rice was established as the norm

Thanks so much! I really didn't know what to call it, just that it was kind of BOR. Also, your search skills are better than mine lol.

Maybe this is a language barrier issue, but it's not a kind of BOR in any sense. BOR stands for "beads of rice" and the name comes from the elongated shape of the links that look like grains of rice. Perhaps that's why you couldn't find it when searching. If you use BOR (or something similar) as a search term, you will never find this bracelet.

Not a language issue. Just a knowledge issue. That's why I posted the question.

I'm any event, I get that it is the name for a specific bracelet. I can assure you my English language skills are excellent.
